Hope Is The Thing was premiered at the Hill Auditorium at the University of Michigan, USA on April 13th 2024 as part of a concert "For Women by Women" - performed by the University of Michigan Women's Glee Club, under the direction of Benjamin Gaughran.
IRELAND
The piece was premiered in Ireland during the UMWGC Summer tour performed in both Dublin and Cork Cathedrals during May 2024.
UK
Hope Is The Thing received its UK premiere on April 28th as part of a vocal workshop run by Corra Sound featuring works by the winning composers in the 2023 Call for Scores, directed by Amy Bebbington.

'Hope Is The Thing' was performed by Mosaic Chamber Choir (sopranos and altos) on 29th March 2025 in Woking, as part of a concert marking the first anniversary of Safi's passing. The event (also entitled Hope Is The Thing) featured music on the theme of hope and resiience and raised £2,000 for Bone Cancer Research Trust in Safi's memory.
